A panel of school, government and police officials will address public safety and teen behavior that has occurred on school property and in adjoining neighborhoods at a special forum September 11 at 6:30 p.m. Bonneville Elementary School, 1146 South 1900 East.
Speakers include Dr. Leeson Taylor, Executive Director of School Leadership and Performance, representing the Salt Lake City School District; Tracy Miller, School Board President, Jordan School District — sharing insights about the nexus of social media and teen behavior; City Councilman Dan Dugan and Salt Lake City Police Detective Sam Fallows. A question and answer period will follow.
Vandalism and crime-related incidents have taken place in and around Bonneville Elementary including a graffiti/hate crime that took place last December resulting in the arrest of two teens.
